Where these Terms refer to “SRN Whisky”, “SRN”, “we”, “us” or “our”, they refer to the above company.

SRN Whisky sells alcoholic products.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol from SRN Whisky.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

SRN Whisky operates age-verification procedures and reserves the right to request satisfactory proof of age before accepting or completing an order.

We may also require age verification at the point of delivery.

If satisfactory age verification cannot be completed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refuse delivery.

We will not knowingly sell or supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.

Where a third-party delivery service is used, the delivery may require proof of age and/or identification and may be refused where the recipient cannot satisfactorily demonstrate that they are aged 18 or over.

All sales of alcohol by SRN Whisky are made in accordance with applicable alcohol licensing legislation.

SRN Whisky reserves the right to refuse or cancel any transaction where we reasonably believe that completing the transaction would breach applicable licensing, alcohol or other legal requirements.

SRN Whisky specialises in premium, rare and limited-edition whiskies.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, tasting notes, bottle quantities, alcohol percentages and other product information displayed on the website are accurate.

However:

• colours and appearance may vary slightly from photographs;
• packaging, labels or presentation may occasionally differ from photographs;
• tasting notes are subjective descriptions and should not be regarded as guarantees of flavour;
• limited-edition products may have extremely limited quantities available;
• availability is subject to stock.

Where a product is described as limited edition, the number of bottles available may be strictly limited and once the available stock has been sold, SRN Whisky may not be able to provide further bottles.

All prices displayed on the website are in GBP unless otherwise stated.

Prices include VAT where applicable.

The price applicable to your order is the price displayed on the website at the time your order is placed.

SRN Whisky reserves the right to change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.

For international orders, the price shown at checkout may not include import duties, local taxes, customs charges or other charges imposed by the destination country unless expressly stated.

When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.

After placing an order, you will normally receive an order acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.

This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract for the sale of the products will be formed when SRN Whisky confirms acceptance of your order and/or dispatches the products to you, subject to applicable law.

SRN Whisky reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order, including where:

• the product is unavailable;
• we are unable to verify the customer's age;
• there has been an obvious pricing or description error;
• we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
• delivery to the requested destination is prohibited or impractical;
• applicable licensing, customs or legal requirements prevent us from completing the sale; or
• we are unable to obtain payment.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order, subject to any rights we may have to make lawful deductions.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered through the website.

Payment must be received before an order is dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may carry out appropriate payment and fraud-prevention checks.

If payment is declined or cannot be verified, SRN Whisky may cancel the order.

We will deliver orders to the delivery address provided by the customer at checkout.

Delivery times provided on the website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

SRN Whisky is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs delays, adverse weather, strikes, government restrictions or other events beyond our control.

A signature and/or proof of age may be required on delivery.

Orders containing alcohol must not be left in an unattended “safe place” where this would conflict with applicable law, our delivery requirements or the courier’s policies.

If nobody suitable is available to receive an age-restricted delivery, the courier may refuse delivery and return the package.

SRN Whisky may accept orders for delivery outside the United Kingdom where we are able to do so.

However, alcohol importation is subject to the laws of the destination country.

Before placing an international order, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the purchase and importation of whisky is permitted in the destination country.

The customer is responsible for any:

• import duties;
• customs charges;
• excise duties;
• local taxes;
• VAT or equivalent taxes;
• clearance fees; and
• other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are not included in the purchase price paid to SRN Whisky.

SRN Whisky cannot guarantee that an international shipment will be permitted entry into the destination country.

If a shipment is refused, detained, seized, destroyed or returned because of restrictions or requirements in the destination country, SRN Whisky will not be responsible for any resulting loss or charges except where required by applicable law.

Where SRN Whisky incurs costs as a result of a customer refusing or failing to accept a lawful delivery, we reserve the right to recover those costs from the customer to the extent permitted by law.

For UK and international consumers, statutory cancellation and consumer rights apply where required by law.

In particular, where a customer exercises a statutory right to cancel a purchase because they have changed their mind, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to SRN Whisky unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Returned whisky must normally be unopened, unused and in its original condition and packaging.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Customers should inspect their order upon delivery.

If a bottle arrives damaged, defective or materially different from the product ordered, please contact SRN Whisky as soon as reasonably possible.

Please retain the original packaging and, where possible, provide photographs of the bottle, packaging and damage.

Where SRN Whisky is responsible for the problem, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.

Many SRN Whisky products are produced in very limited quantities.

Where a product has a stated bottle quantity, that quantity represents the intended number of bottles available for that particular release and does not constitute a guarantee that every bottle will remain available for purchase at all times.

Once a limited release has sold out, SRN Whisky is under no obligation to reproduce or restock the same release unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where products are individually numbered, SRN Whisky will make reasonable efforts to supply the bottle number selected by the customer where the website specifically allows customers to select a bottle number.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, customers do not have a contractual right to a particular bottle number.

Minor variations in packaging, labels, presentation boxes or other materials may occur between individual bottles.

Whisky should be stored appropriately and responsibly.

Unless otherwise specified, bottles should be stored upright, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

SRN Whisky is not responsible for deterioration caused by inappropriate storage after delivery.

Once a bottle has been delivered and accepted by the customer, responsibility for appropriate storage passes to the customer, subject to the customer’s statutory rights.

Alcohol should be consumed responsibly.

SRN Whisky does not encourage excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcohol.

Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws relating to alcohol consumption.

Never drink and drive.

All content appearing on the SRN Whisky website, including but not limited to:

• photographs;
• product images;
• logos;
• trademarks;
• branding;
• text;
• tasting notes;
• graphics;
• designs; and
• website content

is owned by or licensed to SRN Whisky unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.

You agree not to use the website:

• for any unlawful purpose;
• to commit or facilitate fraud;
• to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
• to introduce malicious software;
• to attempt unauthorised access to our systems; or
• in a manner that could damage SRN Whisky or its reputation.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

We aim to keep the website available and operating correctly but do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may temporarily suspend or modify the website for maintenance, security, updates or other operational reasons.

We take reasonable care to ensure that information on the website is accurate.

However, occasional typographical errors, pricing errors, stock errors or other inaccuracies may occur.

If we identify a material error affecting an order before dispatch, we may contact you to correct the error or cancel the order and refund any payment made.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to this, SRN Whisky will not be responsible for losses that:

• were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed;
• arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
• result from the customer's failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

SRN Whisky will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This may include, without limitation:

• natural disasters;
• severe weather;
• fire;
• flood;
• war;
• terrorism;
• civil unrest;
• government action;
• customs restrictions;
• strikes;
• transport disruption;
• courier failure;
• cyber incidents; or
• other events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or protections available to them under the law applicable to their purchase.
